The Tennessee Firearms Association article linked below provides an update and analysis of the just concluded General Assembly Special Session:

Bill Lee’s Special Session ends with no meaningful results – which is a victory.

As the article highlights, the numerous bills and resolutions proposed but not passed during the special session are likely to reappear during next year’s regular session.  Though Governor Lee and his Democrat and Republican allies did not achieve the stated objective of the session, it is reasonable to assume efforts to pass a Red Flag Law and other unconstitutional measures will continue.

Do not think those who want those red flag laws are not about to give up and neither should we.

Please continue to talk with your legislature to encourage them to continue to speak for “we the people”.

As Irish statesman John Philpot Curran stated in 1790, “It is the common fate of the indolent to see their rights become a prey to the active. The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance; which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and the punishment of his guilt.”

We must continue to stand strong. And never give up fighting for our Nation!
